A fragrant journey into the heart of Barolo.
Barolo, Langhe, Piemonte, Italia

Бароло -  это маленький итальянский городок и центр одноименной области в Пьемонте с населением всего 700 человек и площадью 6_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_sq. km. However, these places have gained unprecedented world fame thanks to the great BAROLO produced here since the beginning of the 19th century . This famous Italian wine is one of the ten best wines in the world. Despite its microscopic size, the city is annually visited by tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Our journey will start from the capital of Piedmont - Turin, whose history is unusually closely intertwined with  the royal dynasty of Savoy and _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136 with the emergence of winemaking in the region.8d5c5 We will drive along the famous Barolo wine road. Along the way, we will enjoy the stunning landscapes of the steep hills of the Langhe, completely covered with vineyards. Here is the famous wine-growing area Langhe - Roero and Monferrato, listed of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1214.  Panoramas, aromas, tastes of these places_cc781905-5cde-391 -136bad5cf58d_will not leave anyone indifferent.

In the town itself, we will visit the unusual Wine Museum, located in Castle of Barolo. It served as a country residence family Faletti - the founders of the production of the famous wine. The museum opened relatively recently in 2010. Its author was the famous Swiss designer and museum decorator François Confino (his work in Italy can also be seen in the National Museum of Cinema and the Museum of the Automobile in Turin).

An indispensable condition for our walk will, of course, be a stop for wine tasting, accompanied by delicious local specialties, including the permanent Brasato al Barolo (meat stewed in wine) and bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Barolo (risotto with wine).

After a delicious lunch, we will continue our walk  in the original Corkscrew Museum or optionally visit one of the most famous wineries in Barolo: Marchesi di Barolo, Bogogno, Barale Fratelli. We will learn about the history of the winery, about the peculiarities of wine production, we will go down to the historical cellars and_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136d_5cf5 we will taste a local product.

In conclusion, we will walk along the streets of the town, look into numerous enotecas and food and souvenir  shops. And those who didn't have enough of the wine theme will have one more chance to take away the aroma of these lands in a bottle of beautiful Barolo...
